You’ll start your day visiting the Giza Plateau, only about 30 minutes from Cairo, where your Egyptologist guide will give a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
During your Day Tour to Giza Pyramids, after visiting the pyramids, your guide will offer an incredible photo opportunity across the plateau to capture the three pyramids rising from the sand, with the Cairo skyline in the background.
A short walk from the city side of the plateau brings you to the feet of the Great Sphinx, thousands of years old, the mystical symbol of Egypt! In Giza, you can also visit the Valley Temple, associated with Khafre’s pyramids.
Next, continue your Day Tour to Giza Pyramids at the Saqqara Necropolis, home to the oldest central stone structure in the world. Your guide will explain the history of the famous Step Pyramid built by Imhotep in the Third Dynasty (2630 BC) for King Djoser.
