On the 3rd morning of your 9 Day Egypt Itinerary Nile Cruise with Bahariya Oasis, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to start your Tour to Cairo city attractions.

Head to the Giza Plateau to begin your tour with the legendary Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.

Standing before the Sphinx, you will feel the timeless mystery of ancient Egypt. this is the biggest sphinx in Egypt, carved from a single limestone block, representing King Khafre. It stands 21 meters high and 73 meters long.

Then transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s most important collection of Egyptian artifacts, including the largest collection of pharaonic treasures, allowing you to experience the magic of ancient Egypt.

Continue to the Citadel of Saladin,  Egypt’s center for nearly 700 years, and admire the Mohamad Ali Al-Marmar Mosque, built by the Turkish architect Yusuf Bushnaq.

After you check out from your Cairo hotel, our representative will accompany you to the airport to catch a morning domestic flight to Aswan, where you will begin your Egypt Nile Cruise adventure.

There you will meet our Egypt tour guide who will guide you to visit the High Dam, an engineering marvel of the 20th century begin with the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control Nile flooding, enhance Egypt’s irrigation system, and boost agricultural productivity.

Next, you will head to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which was carved in the mountain. it weighs 1150 tons and its height reaches 42 meters.

Then, move to explore the beautiful Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, the temple is one of Aswan’s most iconic attractions.

Afterward, transfer to your cruise ship for lunch, dinner, and relaxation on board while sailing to Kom Ombo.

After exploring the Temple of Kom Ombo, you’ll return on board to enjoy a delightful lunch as your cruise continues sailing toward Edfu.

A few hours later, you’ll arrive in Edfu, where you’ll visit the magnificent Temple of Horus (also known as the Edfu Temple), one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. Buried beneath the desert sands for over 2,000 years, this impressive monument was begun by Ptolemy III Euergetes in 327 B.C. and completed by his successors up to the reign of Cleopatra VII. The temple was dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, a symbol of divine kingship and protection.

After your tour of the Edfu Temple, you’ll return on board to enjoy dinner and spend the night on the cruise as you sail gracefully toward Luxor.

You’ll begin your day exploring the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs, chosen for its secluded location to safeguard their eternal resting places. More than 60 tombs have been unearthed here, including those of Tutankhamun, Tuthmose IV, and Amenhotep II.

Next, you’ll visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs of the Theban Mountains. The temple’s terraces and detailed reliefs vividly depict scenes from Hatshepsut’s reign, including her famed expedition to the Land of Punt (modern-day Somalia), led by the Egyptian commander Nehesy, to acquire ivory, incense, gold, gum arabic, and exotic trees.

Your final stop on the West Bank is the iconic Colossi of Memnon (two towering statues of Amenhotep II, each rising nearly 20 meters high and weighing about 700 tons, standing as silent sentinels of ancient Thebes).

After your East Bank tour in Luxor, you will be transferred to the International Airport of Luxor to depart back to Cairo and spend the last night of your 8 days Egypt tour package.
