After breakfast on your hotel in Luxor, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Luxor, exploring both the West Bank and East Bank (home to some of Egypt’s most famous ancient sites)
Start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where many pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried, including Tutankhamun, Ramses IV, Ramses VI, Amenhotep III and etc…. Explore a few of these richly decorated tombs carved deep into the mountains.
Next, visit the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built into the cliffs and known for its unique design and detailed wall carvings , including scenes from her famous expedition to the Land of Punt.
On your way back, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,000 years.
In the afternoon, explore Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, dedicated to the god Amun-Ra. Walk through its grand halls, towering columns, and sacred lake.
