Overnight in Cairo

After breakfast, your tour guide and private driver will meet you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza for pickup. You’ll then board your private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your 7 Day Tour of Egypt to Cairo and Nile Cruise Package.

Start at the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built over 23 years with about 3 million limestone blocks and aligned with the cardinal directions.

Then visit the Pyramid of Khafre, which appears taller due to its elevated position.

Continue to the Pyramid of Menkaure, built by Khufu’s grandson. It features a granite-covered base and three small pyramids behind it for royal family members.

Upon finishing your tour to the three pyramids of Giza, explore the Valley Temple, a 41-square-meter granite structure used for mummification, and see the remnants of the connecting causeway.

In the morning, you will take a breakfast box on the way as you head to Cairo International Airport with the assistance of our representative and driver, who will pick you up and help you catch your domestic flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival in Aswan City, begin the third tour of your 7 day Egypt adventure with a visit to the remarkable Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control the flooding of the Nile, improve Egypt’s irrigation system, and boost agricultural productivity.

Next, visit the fascinating Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. If completed, it would have stood 42 meters tall and weighed over 1,150 tons, making it the largest obelisk ever constructed. Though it remains partially attached to the bedrock due to cracks, it provides rare insight into the techniques of ancient Egyptian stone carving.

Continue your exploration with a visit to the breathtaking Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, this temple stands as one of Aswan’s most enchanting and picturesque monuments.

After enjoying breakfast on board, disembark the cruise with your tour guide for an excursion to Kom Ombo, where the Double-Temple dedicated to two ancient Egyptian gods (Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder). This double temple features symmetrical sections honoring each deity, showcasing fascinating Greco-Roman architecture and religious symbolism.

After your tour of Kom Ombo, return to the cruise and enjoy a delightful lunch on board.

Continue sailing to Edfu, home to the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient sanctuaries. Hidden beneath desert sands for more than two millennia, this awe-inspiring monument was begun by Ptolemy III Evergetes in 327 B.C. and completed under the reign of Cleopatra VII. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple stands as a timeless symbol of divine kingship and protection.

After completing the tour, you will return to your Cruise Ship to have dinner and overnight.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast on your Cruise and kick-off on a full-day guided tour exploring the East Bank of Luxor,  home to some of Egypt’s most iconic ancient temples.

Begin your journey on the East Bank, beginning with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site in Egypt, dedicated to the god Amun-Ra. Walk through its grand hypostyle hall, massive columns, and sacred lake.

End your day with a visit to the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated by the afternoon sun. Built by several great pharaohs, starting with Amenhotep III, it was once connected to Karnak Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes. The temple was dedicated to the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonsu) and remains one of the most atmospheric monuments in all of Egypt.

Step inside a few of these beautifully decorated tombs carved deep into the mountains, each telling stories of the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife.

During your tour, you will take a break to enjoy lunch at a high-quality restaurant on the West Bank of Luxor.

Next, continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece built into the cliffs and known for its elegant terraces and detailed wall carvings depicting scenes from her expedition to the Land of Punt.

On your way back, stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon, two 20-meter-towering statues,each weighing approximately 700 tons. They belong to Pharaoh Amenhotep III , as they have stood for over 3,000 years, guarding the Theban necropolis.

After your tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you will spend the night.
