Start at the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built over 23 years with about 3 million limestone blocks and aligned with the cardinal directions.

Then visit the Pyramid of Khafre, which appears taller due to its elevated position. 

Continue to the Pyramid of Menkaure, built by Khufu’s grandson. It features a granite-covered base and three small pyramids behind it for royal family members.

Next, visit Saladin Citadel, Egypt’s center for nearly 700 years, and admire the Mohamad Ali Al-Marmar Mosque, built by the Turkish architect Yusuf Bushnaq.a magnificent medieval fortress built in 1175 AD during the Crusades by the brilliant engineer Bahaa El-Din Karakosh, under the command of Salah El-Din (Saladin). Inside the fortress stands the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, constructed between 1830 and 1848 AD by Mohamed Ali Pasha. Its gleaming domes and sweeping city views make it one of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks.

After your tour to the Citadel of Saladin, shift to Khan El Khalili Bazaar to wander through the bustling streets of Cairo and enjoy seeing the Souvenirs of Egypt, and even buy some if you are interested.

In the morning, you will be transferred to the International Cairo Airport, with the accompaniment of our representative and private driver, to catch a domestic flight to the City of Aswan.  

Once you land in Aswan City, you will move to start your third tour in your 12 days Egypt tour with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control Nile flooding, enhance Egypt’s irrigation system, and boost agricultural productivity.

Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient granite quarries. Had it been completed, it would have stood 42 meters tall and weighed over 1,150 tons—making it the largest obelisk ever attempted. Although it remains attached to the bedrock due to cracks, it offers rare insight into ancient Egyptian stone-carving techniques.

Continue to the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, the temple is one of Aswan’s most iconic attractions.

After completing your tour in Aswan, you will embark on your luxury cruise with your guide, where you’ll enjoy lunch and dinner and spend the night on board.

You’ll start your day early with a breakfast box at 4:30 am. You will board a modern air-conditioned vehicle for the excursion to the magnificent Ramses II temples at Abu Simbel, which usually takes around 3 and a half hours.

These iconic rock-cut temples were commissioned by Ramses II and are dedicated not only to himself but also to the gods Amun-Ra, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah. You’ll also visit the Temple of Hathor, lovingly built by Ramses II in honor of his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

More than 60 tombs have been unearthed here, including those of Tutankhamun, Tuthmose IV, and Amenhotep II.

Next, you’ll visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs of the Theban Mountains. The temple’s terraces and detailed reliefs vividly depict scenes from Hatshepsut’s reign, including her famed expedition to the Land of Punt (modern-day Somalia), led by the Egyptian commander Nehesy, to acquire ivory, incense, gold, gum arabic, and exotic trees.

Take a break for lunch, and then continue with your tour.

Your final stop on the West Bank is the iconic Colossi of Memnon (two towering statues of Amenhotep II, each rising nearly 20 meters high and weighing about 700 tons, standing as silent sentinels of ancient Thebes).
